En el blog de mi amigo Ubunlog he visto un post donde te explica como saber todo el software privativo que hay instalado en tu sistema operativo Debian, Ubuntu y derivados de estos, es muy fácil.
1º abres el terminal e instalas este programa vrms
sudo apt-get install vrms
luego solo tienes que poner en el terminal esto
vrms
Y a mi me ha salido esto:
